We had a guest stop by at the LAB

Brook yung aka B.Yung all the way from Brooklyn, NY came to Anchorage, AK part of his tour.  During his stay B. Yung stopped by the LAB to talk Hip Hop and how his trip was going. B. Yung is a spoken word poet, hiphop influenced artist that performed on Feb 19, at the Fairview Recreation Center.  B. Yung ranked 2nd in the nation with Urbanword NYC's slamteam at the Brave New Voices National Competition while being one of the main focuses on "HBO's Brave New Voices Documentary". He also ranked first place in the "2008's Robert Redford Speak Green Poetry Competition" that was held at the world re-known Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C. Listen to his "I am a Queen" poem.  It's Deeper than a game a chest lol.

This past weekend has been a busy one for us here at the LAB. First our comercial aired, then our lil danger room sesions (1on1 bboy jam) as well as My frist art show. thats right I was featured in the ad hoc art show at the out north theatre.
